Customer Service at It's Worst

-- UPDATE--
The refurbished computer had the exact same problems within a few months of the issues described below. After another big battle with HP and reaching out the CEO's office again, they finally replaced the device with a different size and half the value of the original Zbook that I had purchased. I was so frustrated I had no more fight and accepted the computer as at least it was functioning. Needless to say that was the end of my HP buying experience.

--ORIGINAL POST--

My journey isn't quite over, but it looks like I'm nearing the finish line or starting line? I purchased an HP Zbook 14 from Bestbuy.com (through HPP Enterprises). It has been quite a frustrating customer service nightmare, but I currently have a refurbished HP Zbook 14 that seems to be working so far. This was after my previous one, purchased in February 2014 began acting up in April 2014 and I have finally gotten it resolved at the end of August 2014.

I had HP warranty and Geek Squad support, well so called support.

To get it I had to:
- receive two in home visits from HP home support
- 9 visits to Geek Squad for restores mostly to get back to as broken as I brought it in
- 40+ emails trying to located a Windows license and to get help from anyone to get my PC working
- 20+ phone calls (several to the wrong company because Best Buy's incorrect records)
- 10+ Tweets
 - 3 live chats with Microsoft
- Purchase a second copy of Windows 7 Pro (I'm now on my third since I purchased the machine in February and still only no windows product key from HP or anyone else - all blame each other)
- Argue with Best Buy, HPP Enterprises, PC Rush (innocent party that BB sent me to) and Microsoft to try and get my product key (all fails - no one delivered it to me and I still don't have one from the three HP put on there)
- Try to convince any of the above companies that the machine I purchased with Windows 7 Pro on it and received with Windows 7 Pro on it ever had Windows 7 Pro on it. All still deny it and no one claims to have installed it. They also don't have any record of Windows 8 product key for me.

My original machine had:
- two motherboard replacements
- battery and power replaced
- Four re-installs of Windows (one with a restore to 8 and three re-installs of 7)
- replaced with a refurb HP Zbook

I only received my HP today after this challenge began in April. You can read about my awesome experience with each company below.

It began in April dropping the machine at Geek Squad.
